The Ringsted – Fehmarn Programme comprises an upgrade of the existing Danish railway line between Ringsted and Nykøbing Falster.
Glumsø Station St 75+000
- Dismantling and construction of new footbridge or re-built and replacing existing footbridge
Construction of new platform surface including filling material and drainage from km 75+675 to km 76+165 - Construction of noise barriers on the right hand side of the tracks from km 75+830 to km 76+165
- Construction of retaining walls from km 75+780 to km 76+135
- Mounting of platform fittings
- Dismantling and replacing existing fittings for ticket system and traffic information
- Adjustment of signs and tactile paving
Design and construction of new areas for bicycle parking and access area from existing station area. Approximately 1000 square meters.
Design and construction of new area for buses, taxis, bicycles and parking spaces for disabled. New retaining walls, stairs and step free access to platform. Including connection to public road. Approximately 2500 square meters.
Vordingborg Station St 118+000
- Demolition of existing concrete footbridge
- Construction of new footbridge
- Construction of noise barriers on the left hand side of the tracks from km 118+175 to km 118+600
- Mounting of platform fittings
- Dismantling and replacing existing fittings for ticket system and traffic information including new traffic information at the western side of the station
- Carry out new access from existing station area to existing platform 1
- Adjustment of signs and tactiles
- New fence between tracks
Construction of new access and parking areas along existing platform 1. Approximately 1000 square meters.
Alslev Station St 206+200
- Construction of new footbridge
- Construction of new platform forefronts
- Construction of new platform surface including filling material and drainage from km 206+000 to km 206+400
- Construction of noise barriers on both sides of the tracks from km 206+100 to km 206+400
- Construction of retaining walls from km 206+200 to km 206+370
- Mounting of new platform fittings
- Dismantling and replacing existing fittings for ticket system and traffic information
- Adjustment of signs and tactiles
- Adjustment of bus and parking areas
Eskilstrup Station St 210+700
- Construction of new footbridge
- Construction of new platform surface including filling material and drainage from km 210+675 to km 210+915
- Construction of noise barriers on both side of the tracks from km 210+675 to km 210+920
- Construction of retaining walls from km 210+730 to km 210+920
- Mounting of new platform fittings
- Dismantling and replacing existing fittings for ticket system and traffic information
- Adjustment of signs and tactiles
Nykøbing Falster Station St 220+800
- Construction of new platform forefronts and platform surface on existing platform including material and drainage from km 220+670 to km 220+735 and from km 220+640 to km 220+810
- Mounting of new platform fittings
- New tactiles on existing platforms and in tunnel
- Railings and markings om existing stairways
Lundby Station St 106+40
- Dismantling and construction of new footbridge or re-built and raising of existing footbridge
- Replacement of traffic information at island-platform
- Minor adjustment of platform forefronts
- Adjustment of signs and tactiles
This includes expansion of the existing single track from Vordingborg to Nykøbing Falster to a double track (excluding the Storstrøm Bridge), electrification of the entire line and improving the infrastructure to increase speed limits up to 200 km/h with axel load of 22,5 tonnes and freight trains running with max. speed of 100 km/h with max. load of 22,5 tonnes.
